EASY CROCK-POT PULLED PORK | |
I prefer a spicy/smoky barbecue sauce for this rather than a sweet barbecue sauce, but both are GREAT! 1 pork tenderloin roast 1 onion, chopped 1-2 cloves fresh garlic 2 tbsp. olive oil salt and pepper, to taste 1 (16 oz.) bottle barbecue sauce (your favorite) chipotle Tabasco sauce (optional) Turn Crock-Pot on HIGH. Add olive oil, garlic and onions and give it a good stir. Place roast in Crock-Pot and turn to coat with oil and onions and garlic. Add salt and pepper, to taste. Cook on HIGH for about 4 to 5 hours depending on size of roast. Once pork roast is completely tender, take two forks and "pull" apart. Add entire bottle of barbecue sauce (and a few shakes from the Tabasco bottle, if desired) and stir. Cook on LOW for at least another hour, or until you are ready to serve. Serve on hamburger buns, over baked potatoes, or with a fork! Submitted by: Dayna |
