FRIED CARROTS 
10 lg. carrots, cleaned and sliced
4 slices bacon, diced and browned in skillet
1/4 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. pepper
1 tbsp. sugar
1 tbsp. vinegar

Brown diced bacon in skillet. Cook carrot slices in salted water until almost done. Add carrot slices to browned bacon. Also add a small amount of carrot liquid. Combine salt, pepper, sugar and vinegar. Pour over carrots, cover and fry until done.
