GRANDMA BANDI'S CHILI 
2 1/2 lbs. ground chuck or hamburger
2 lb. can red kidney beans
1 medium onion, diced
1 lg. green pepper
1 can stewed tomatoes
1 can tomato soup
1 sm. can tomato sauce
Chili powder or hot salsa to taste

Brown meat with onion and pepper; drain. Add beans with juice, stewed tomatoes, soup, and tomato sauce. Simmer on low heat until sauce thickens a little, 30 minutes or so. You may add chili powder to taste, or for really hot chili, add hot salsa to taste. It won't need much of this.

This chili is even better the next day, after all flavors have a chance to blend. Makes a crock pot full.
