COUNTRY - BAKED LIMAS 
2 c. lima beans
1/4 lb. bacon, cut in sm. pieces
1 med. onion, sliced
1/4 c. light molasses
2 tbsp. chili sauce
1 1/2 tbsp. brown sugar
2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. mustard
1 c. tomato juice

Wash beans thoroughly and soak overnight in 1 quart cold water. Simmer in same water about 1/2 hour. Drain, reserving liquid. Heat oven to 250°F (slow).

Place beans, bacon and onion in bean pot. Combine remaining ingredients; pour over beans, adding enough liquid to cover beans. Cover and bake 4-6 hours until tender. Uncover last 1/2 hour to brown.

Makes 8 servings.
