APRICOT BARS 
1 1/2 c. sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 c. brown sugar
1 1/2 c. oatmeal, uncooked
3/4 c. butter
1 c. apricot jam

Mix flour, baking powder, sugar and oats. Cut butter until crumbly into the above mixture. Pat 2/3 of this mixture into a 13 x 2 x 6 inch pan. Spread this with the jam. Top with the remaining flour/oat mixture. Bake 35 minutes in 350 degree oven. Cut in bars, after cooled. Makes approximately 2 dozen.
