CORN FRITTERS 
1 (8 3/4 oz.) can whole kernel corn
1 1/2 c. sifted all purpose flour
3 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
1 beaten egg
Milk

Drain corn, reserving liquid. Add enough milk to corn juice to make 1 cup. Sift dry ingredients together. Combine egg, milk mixture and corn. Add to dry ingredients. Mix just until moistened. Drop batter from tablespoon into deep hot fat. Fry until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with syrup, however they are delicious alone.
