GOLDEN CORN FRITTERS 
1 1/3 c. flour
1 1/2 tsp. baking powder
3/4 tsp. salt
2/3 c. milk
1 well beaten egg
1 1/2 c. whole kernel corn (drained)

Sift the dry ingredients together. Blend milk and the egg, add gradually to dry ingredients. Stir in corn. Drop from tablespoon into deep fat (375 degrees). Fry 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. Serve with maple syrup. Serves 6.
