HAM AND CORN FRITTERS 
2 c. sifted flour
3 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1/4 c. mild molasses
1 egg
1 tsp. shortening
1 c. minced ham
1 c. canned whole kernel corn, well drained

Sift flour, baking powder and salt into bowl. Combine milk, molasses, egg and shortening. Add to dry ingredients. Stir in ham and corn. Mix well. Drop batter by heaping tablespoons into hot deep fat (350-365 degrees). Fry 3 to 5 minutes or until golden brown. Drain well.
