LIME SQUARES 
1 c. all-purpose flour
1/2 c. butter, softened
1/2 c. chopped pecans
1/4 c. sugar
2 eggs
2 tbsp. lime juice
1 to 1 1/2 tbsp. grated lime rind
1 c. sugar
2 tbsp. all-purpose flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
Powdered sugar

Combine 1 cup flour, butter, pecans, and 1/4 cup sugar; mix until crumbly, using a pastry blender. Press into a greased and floured 12 x 8-inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 15 minutes.

Beat eggs with a fork, adding lime juice, rind, 1 cup sugar, 2 tablespoons flour, and baking powder. Pour mixture over crust. Bake an additional 25 minutes. Cool. Sprinkle with powdered sugar.

Makes about 3 1/2 dozen.
