ITALIAN SAUSAGE AND SHRIMP W/
LINGUINE
 
Italian sausage
1 lb. shrimp
1 stick butter
olive oil
green onions
garlic
salt and pepper
1 lb. linguine or spaghetti
broccoli (optional)

Shell about a pound of shrimp, set aside. Melt 1 stick of butter and olive oil in a 12" skillet. Add chopped green onions, cook a few minutes then add several cloves of minced garlic. Add the Italian sausage (about 3 links), break into small pieces.

Cook thoroughly, then add the shrimp and cook until done (3-4 minutes).

You can also add, with the shrimp, some broccoli that has been chopped. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Mix with noodles.

Great recipe, however, I used sauce, no green onions, too cold to go to store so I used yellow onions I cooked noodles, did not mix, on the side, the broccoli was the bomb. Husband loved it.
