CLASSIC CHICKEN CASSEROLE | |
1 pkg. sm. macaroni 1/2 c. butter 1/2 c. green pepper 1/2 c. onions 1 tbsp. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 1 tsp. dry mustard 1/4 tsp. white pepper 1 qt. milk 8 chicken breasts, skinned & deboned 1 can mushroom soup 1 can (4 oz.) pimentos 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 2 c. grated cheddar cheese Cook macaroni by package, drain. Heat butter. Saute peppers and onions until tender and remove. Blend in flour, salt, mustard. Blend and stir in milk, 1 cup chicken broth and milk. Bring to boil, reduce heat and cook 3 minutes. Remove and sprinkle cheese. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. |
