JELLY COOKIES 
2 c. plus 4 tbsp. flour
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. soft butter
2 egg yolks
1 tsp. vanilla
Peach, raspberry, or strawberry preserves

Mix flour and sugar. Add butter and mix until coarse crumbs are formed. Add egg yolks and vanilla and mix with fingers until dough holds together. Form into a ball and chill for 30 minutes. Make 1 inch balls and add thumb print. Add preserves in thumb print groove. Bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Loosen, but cool on pans.
