1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1 stick butter, melted
1 (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 box confectioners' sugar
1 c. crushed pecans or walnuts

Mix cake mix, 1 egg, butter by hand. Batter will be stiff. Pat out in greased long cookie sheet. Sprinkle with nuts. Mix cream cheese, 2 eggs, sugar with electric mixer. Pour over nuts. Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes. Let cool and cut into small squares about the size of fudge. Yields 75. Variation: Use German chocolate cake mix and chocolate chips.
