CHOCOLATE CARAMELITA BARS 
1 3/4 c. Quaker Oats quick or old fashion
1 1/2 c. flour
3/4 c. brown sugar
3/4 c. butter flavor Crisco, melted
1 tbsp. water
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
1 c. chopped nuts
6 oz. (1 c.) chocolate chips
1 (12.5 oz.) jar caramel ice cream topping
1/4 c. flour

Heat oven to 350 degrees and grease 9 x 13 pan. Combine first 7 ingredients. Reserve 1 cup. Press all but 1 cup reserve into bottom of 9 x 13 pan. Bake 10 to 12 minutes. Cool 10 minutes. Top with nuts, chocolate chips. Combine caramel topping and 1/4 cup flour, drizzle over top of nuts and chocolate chips. Sprinkle top with 1 cup reserve oat mixture. Bake 18 to 22 minutes. Yields 24 (2x2) bars.
