1 devils food cake
2 c. sugar
1 c. buttermilk
1/2 c. cocoa
1 tbsp. baking soda
1 tbsp. vanilla
1 c. oil
2 eggs
2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. boiling water

Combine sugar, eggs, and oil. Add dry ingredients with milk. Then add vanilla and boiling water. (The batter will be thin.) Bake for 30-40 minutes in 350 degree oven.

TOPPING:

1 jar caramel topping
1 container Cool Whip
4 Heath bars

Let the cake cool and then take the handle of a wooden spoon and poke holes all over the cake. Pour the caramel topping on top of the cake so it fills the holes and stays on top. Spread the Cool Whip over the caramel topping. Finally, take the Heath bars, crush them and sprinkle them on top of the Cool Whip.
