FRENCH "SOUTHERN BURGUNDY BEEF" | |
3 lbs. of beef meat (London Broil) 2 onions 3 c. chopped carrots 3 c. chopped celery 1 lb. mushrooms 2 tbsp. flour 2 tbsp. oil 1 bottle of red wine/Burgundy Salt, pepper, ground cloves Cut the meat in big pieces. Fry them in a pan. Add the flour and onions (cut in small pieces). Turn the pieces of meat. Then pour the wine, the salt, pepper and ground cloves. Cook it for 2 hours. Put the carrots, celery, mushrooms in the pan. Cook them 30 more minutes. (All the alcohol should be evaporated). For 8 people. |
