1 c. flour
1 c. milk
2 eggs
1/2 tsp. salt

Mix ingredients thoroughly; beat and beat. Make 2-3 hours ahead of time and every so often beat thoroughly.

Place 1/2 teaspoon shortening or bacon grease in muffin tin and with pastry brush coat sides of tin. Put in 400 degree oven to heat oil 5 minutes before adding mixture. Bake for 20-25 minutes at 400 degrees. Makes 12.
