ONE HUNDRED DOLLAR CAKE 
2 1/2 c. sugar
1 c. Crisco
3 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1/4 tsp. salt
4 tsp. cocoa
5 egg yolks
5 egg whites
1 c. buttermilk
2 tsp. vanilla
5 tbsp. cold coffee

Beat well 5 egg whites; set aside. Beat well together Crisco and sugar. Add egg yolks, beating well after each. Add dry ingredients (which have been sifted together) alternately with buttermilk. Add vanilla and coffee. Last fold in beaten egg whites. Bake in 3 round pans 25-30 minutes at 325 degrees. Grease and flour pans.

FROSTING:

1 sm. block cream cheese
1 stick butter
1 box confectioners' sugar
4 tsp. cocoa
1 tsp. vanilla
Cold coffee

Beat cream cheese and butter. Add cocoa gradually. Add sugar with enough cold coffee to make right consistency to spread on cake. Add vanilla.
