MILLION DOLLAR POUND CAKE 
1 lb. butter, softened
6 eggs, room temp.
4 c. plain all-purpose flour
3/4 c. milk
1 tsp. almond extract
1 tsp. vanilla extract

Grease and flour cake pan, set aside. Assemble all ingredients. Let butter, eggs, and milk reach room temperature. Measure dry ingredients; combine butter and sugar; cream thoroughly until light and fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating 1 minute after each addition. Add dry ingredients, alternating with liquid to creamed mixture, beginning and ending with dry ingredients. Beat batter until smooth; stir in flavorings. Spoon batter evenly into cake pan. Remove air bubbles with spatula. Bake for about 1 hour and 40 minutes at 300 degrees.
