CONGO BARS 
1 box brown sugar, light
2 sticks melted butter
3 eggs
2 1/2 c. sifted flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla
12 oz. chocolate chips
1/2 c. nuts

Add sugar to melted butter. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Sift salt, flour and baking powder together. Add to other mixture. Stir in chips and nuts. Pour into a large greased pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30-45 minutes.
