FANNY MAE CAKE 
1/2 c. butter
1 c. sugar
4 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup
1 c. + 1 tbsp. flour

Cream butter and sugar. Add eggs and vanilla. Mix well. Add chocolate syrup. Mix well. Add flour. Mix well. Pour into 9 x 13 pan and bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Cool completely.

SECOND LAYER:

1/2 c. butter
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. milk
1/2 tsp. mint flavor
2 or 3 drops green coloring

Cream butter and sugar. Add milk, flavoring and coloring. Spread over cooled cake and refrigerate.

THIRD LAYER:

6 tbsp. butter
1 c. chocolate chips

Melt over low heat or microwave butter and chocolate chips. Cool slightly and spread carefully over cake. Refrigerate and cut in small to medium pieces. It is a very rich cake.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
