FESTIVE SAUERKRAUT SALAD 
1 c. sugar
1/4 c. vinegar
2 c. sauerkraut, drained
1/4 c. celery, chopped
1/4 c. green pepper, chopped
1/4 c. red pepper, chopped
1/4 c. onion, chopped

Combine sugar and vinegar; bring to a boil. Set aside to cool. Combine vegetables; pour vinegar mixture over vegetables. Refrigerate for at least 12 hours or overnight.
