“MUSHROOM BURGERS” IS IN:

MUSHROOM BURGERS 
1/4 lb. fresh mushrooms
1 lb. lean ground round
1/4 c. finely chopped green onion
1/2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
2 hamburger buns, split
Low-sugar catsup

Wipe mushrooms, or rinse quickly and pat dry if they are very dirty. Mince mushrooms finely in food processor fitted with chopping blade, or chop by hand with chef's knife; place in large bowl. Add ground round, green onions, and Worcestershire sauce. Mix lightly, just until blended. Shape into 4 patties.

Broil patties, 4-inches from heat, 5 minutes on each side for rare, 7 minutes for medium and 9 minutes for well-done. Toast buns. Place a burger on each roll half; top with a dollop of ketchup.

Makes 4 servings, 247 calories each.
