GROUND BEEF CARBONARA 
3/4 lb. ground beef
1/4 tsp. coarsely crushed fennel seeds
1 sm. onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, pressed

Brown ground beef with fennel seeds. Combine above ingredients. Continue to cook until onion is soft. Beat 3 eggs with 1/4 teaspoon salt. Cook 1/2 pound spaghetti al dente. Drain and add to hot meat mixture. Add 4 tablespoons butter and 1/2 cup fresh, chopped parsley; mix quickly to blend. At once pour in eggs and toss to coat spaghetti well with egg. Sprinkle 1/2 cup Parmesan and dash of pepper. Toss again. Serve with additional Parmesan. Serves 4.
