CATHY'S CALIFORNIA SALAD 
2 Golden Delicious apples (unpeeled & sliced)
3 c. torn fresh spinach
1/2 c. crumbled blue cheese
1/2 c. sliced mushrooms
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
3 c. torn bibb lettuce
1/2 c. chopped pecans
6 slices crisp cooked bacon
1/2 c. sliced red onion

SALAD DRESSING:

1/8 c. red wine vinegar
1/3 c. olive oil
1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/2 tsp. sugar
1 clove garlic
1/2 tsp. salt
1/4 tsp. oregano
Dash of pepper

Place vinegar, oil, Worcestershire, garlic, salt, oregano, sugar and pepper in jar; shake and chill for 2 hours. When ready to serve, remove garlic clove from dressing, pour over salad and serve. Serve chilled. Serves 6-8.
