| CHERRY MASH BAR (LIKE CANDY) | |

2 c. sugar 2/3 c. evaporated milk (sm. can) 12 reg. size marshmallows 1/2 c. butter Dash of salt 1 tsp. vanilla 1 (10 oz.) pkg. cherry chips 12 oz. pkg. chocolate chips 3/4 c. peanut butter 1 lb. crushed salted peanuts Stir sugar, milk, marshmallows, butter, salt together bring to a boil and boil 5 minutes. Stir often. Make sure marshmallows are melted. Remove from heat and add vanilla and cherry chips. Stir well dissolved and smooth. Spread in a well buttered 9 x 13 inch pan and let set in refrigerator. Melt chocolate chips and peanut butter. Stir in crushed peanuts, mix well. Spread over the cherry layer. Chill and slice into pieces. Optional: You also could put chocolate on otherside. | |

This was as close to the real thing as you can get without finding the actual candy bar. Finding the cherry chips is difficult at best. I ordered them from Amazon. I got 3 bags for under 20 bucks with shipping. Well worth it! Thanks for sharing.
