QUICK OVEN SAUERBRATEN | |
1 1/2 lbs. round steak or bottom round, cubed 2 cubes beef bouillon and 2 c. hot water 1 tbsp. brown sugar 2 tbsp. wine vinegar 1 onion, chopped 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce 1/4 tsp. ground ginger 1 bay leaf Brown meat in 2 tablespoons butter. Add onions and continue browning. Remove from burner. Add rest of ingredients. Place in covered casserole in 350 degree oven for 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven, take out bay leaf. Thicken gravy, serve over noodles. |
