BISCUIT BLANKET MEAT LOAVES | |
1 lb. ground beef 3/4 c. crushed corn flakes 1/2 c. chopped celery 1/2 c. chopped onion 2 eggs 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. pepper 1 (8 oz.) can refrigerated biscuits Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Combine all ingredients except biscuits; blend well. Shape into 5 loaves about 5 inches long. Separate dough into 10 biscuits. Pat each to 2 x 4 rectangle. Wrap 2 biscuits around each meat loaf. Join ends at the top; secure with toothpicks. Bake on ungreased cookie sheet at 400 degrees for 18-22 minutes or until golden brown. Refrigerate any leftovers. Makes 5 servings. |
