BUTTERSCOTCH BROWNIES 
1 1/2 sticks butter
1 box light brown sugar
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. chopped nuts
1 1/2 c. self-rising flour

Melt butter. Add sugar, beaten eggs, and vanilla. Blend together. Add chopped nuts. Sift and add flour to mixture. Pour into a 9 x 13 inch greased and floured pan. Bake 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Cut into small pieces and serve as cookies or in large pieces and serve as a dessert topped with whipped topping or ice cream.
