BREAD STUFFING 
1 1/2 qts. soft bread cubes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
4 tbsp. butter
1/4 c. diced onion
1/4 c. diced celery
1 egg
1/2 c. milk

Combine bread cubes, salt and pepper. Toss lightly to mix. Melt butter in skillet and add onion and celery. Cook over low heat until onion is tender. Stir frequently to mix. Beat egg slightly, add to milk and stir into bread cubes. Add celery and onion with butter in which they cooked and mix well. (Makes 1 1/2 quarts stuffing.)
