BUTTERY MICROWAVE CARAMEL CORN 
16 c. popped corn
1 c. brown sugar
1/4 c. lite Karo syrup
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 - 1 c. peanuts (opt.)
1 stick butter
1/2 tsp. baking soda

Put brown sugar, butter and syrup in large mixing bowl. Micro on High 1 1/2 to 2 minutes until bubbly. Stir. Boil for 3 more minutes on High. Stir after each 1 minute. Add soda and vanilla. Stir well. In large grocery bag put popcorn in. Pour caramel mixture over popcorn. Shake. Micro 1 minute, shake, micro 1 minute, shake, micro 30 seconds, shake. Place caramel corn on waxed paper or cookie tray to cool.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
