MERRY POTATOES 
1 tsp. salt
1 tbsp. minced onion
1 lb. (16 oz.) sour cream
1 stick butter (save half to drizzle on top)
2 lb. pkg. hash browns
1 can cream of chicken soup
2 c. shredded American cheese
1 c. crushed corn flakes

Combine salt, onion, sour cream, half of the butter, and the cream of chicken soup together. Stir in frozen hash browns and shredded cheese. Pour into well greased 9x13 pan. Spread crushed corn flakes on top. Melt other half of butter and drizzle over top. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
