GERMAN POTATO SALAD 
4 c. sliced, cooked potatoes, room temperature
1 tbsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. ground black pepper
1/3 c. cider vinegar
4 tsp. prepared mustard
2 hard-cooked eggs, sliced
4 slices bacon
1 1/2 tbsp. flour
1 tsp. salt
1/2 c. water
3 tbsp. green onions, minced

Fry bacon until crisp; drain, crumble and reserve. Add flour and sugar to 2 tablespoons of bacon drippings. Cook for a few minutes, stirring. Add salt, pepper, vinegar, and water. Continue to cook until thickened. Add mustard and onions. Pour above mixture over cooked potatoes and heat until warmed through. Sprinkle with bacon and garnish with egg slices. Serves 6.
