MAMA LUCY'S QUICK CANDY | |
3 tbsp. cocoa 1 stick butter 1/2 c. peanut butter 1/2 coffee c. of cold coffee (not measuring c.) 1 box powdered sugar 1/4 lb. soda crackers, crushed Sift powdered sugar and set aside. In a heavy skillet over low heat mix cocoa, butter and peanut butter until melted. Remove from heat and add alternately powdered sugar and coffee; mix well using as little coffee as needed to make a stiff mixture. Gradually add crushed crackers and mix well. Pour into greased deep pie dish. Chill well before slicing to serve. Keep refrigerated. |
