HOT DIGGETY DOGS | |
8 slices bread, crusts removed 8 all beef hot dogs, steamed and set aside 1/4 c. Dijonnaise plus 1 tbsp. (or use yellow mustard, if preferred) 6 tbsp. onions, finely chopped 1/4 c. butter, melted Toothpicks Oven at 350 degrees. Mix together Dijonnaise and onions. Spread each slice of bread with this mixture. Place a hot dog in center of each bread slice. Roll bread around hot dogs and secure with toothpicks. Brush these hot dog roll ups with the melted butter and place seam side down in a 9 x 13 inch baking dish. Bake uncovered until hot and golden brown, about 20 minutes. Yield: 8 servings. NOTE: If using 10 hotdogs, add 2 additional slices of bread and increase all ingredients by 1 tablespoon. |
