BLUEBERRY CAKE AND SAUCE 
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. butter
1 egg
1 c. flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. milk

Cream butter and sugar. Add egg, flour and baking powder, gradually with milk. Add blueberries. Bake at 350 degrees in a 8 or 9 inch square greased pan for 45 to 60 minutes. Serves 9.

SAUCE:

2 cups water
1/2 cup sugar
2 tablespoons butter
2 tbsp. corn starch

4 tbsp. of rum, sherry, or lemon juice.
