ELMA'S EASY SUPPER DISH 
2 tbsp. butter, melted
1 c. elbow macaroni
2 c. tomato juice
1/2 lb. ground beef
1 med. onion, chopped
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. oregano
1/2 tsp. chili powder
Dash of garlic
1 c. grated American or Cheddar cheese

Melt butter over low heat. Add uncooked macaroni and tomato juice. Bring to a boil. Add browned ground beef (or leftover roast), chopped onion, pepper, oregano, chili powder and garlic. Mix together. Cover and cook on stove 15-20 minutes. Add grated cheese. Heat until cheese is melted.
