2 lbs. pure lard 2 c. sugar 6 eggs 12 c. flour 1 tsp. salt 1 c. wine (port) or orange or grape juice Mix lard, eggs, sugar, wine or juice then add the rest of ingredients. Use a cookie press or make little balls, size of walnuts. Bake 10 minutes at 425 degrees then roll them in sugar and cinnamon while they are warm. |
