PEANUT STREUSEL PIE 
3 baked pie shells
1 c. peanut butter
1 c. flour
6 c. scalded milk
9 beaten egg yolks
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 1/4 c. sifted powdered sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. butter
1 1/2 tsp. vanilla

Blend peanut butter and powdered sugar until mealy. Sprinkle 2/3 mixture over bottom of pie shells.

Combine flour, sugar, and salt in top of double boiler. Stir in scaled milk. Cook until thickened. Stir in egg yolks, small amount at a time into pudding and cook a few minutes longer.

Add butter and vanilla. Make meringue for tops and brown in oven at 350 degrees about 10 minutes. For meringue. Beat the 9 egg whites until stiff. Add 1/4 cup sugar then put on pies.
