APPLE CRUNCH 
1/2 c. butter
1 1/2 c. oats
2/3 c. sugar
1 c. flour
1/2 tsp. cinnamon
Dash of salt
2 c. applesauce
Oven 400 degrees

Melt butter in skillet, add oats and saute for 3 minutes. Combine sugar, flour, cinnamon and salt. Mix with oats. Press half of mixture lightly into greased pan (8 x 8). Spread applesauce over crumbs. Cover with remaining crumbs and press lightly. Bake for 30 minutes. Chill before serving.
