WHOLE WHEAT PIZZA CRUST | |
1 pkg. dry yeast 1/4 c. warm water 1 1/2 c. whole wheat flour 1/2 c. all purpose flour 1/4 tsp. salt 1 tbsp. olive oil 1/2 to 2/3 c. warm water Vegetable cooking spray Dissolve yeast in 1/4 cup warm water in small bowl; let stand 5 minutes. Combine flours and salt in large bowl. Stir in yeast mixture and oil. Add enough warm water to make a moderate stiff dough. Stir well. Cover and let stand 15 minutes. Turn dough out onto a lightly floured surface. Knead 5 to 8 times; divide dough in half. Roll each 1/2 in 12 inch circle. Place each on pizza pan coated with cookie spray. Bake at 425 degrees for 5 minutes. Add favorite pizza toppings and bake until toppings are done. Yields 2 crusts. |
