HILLBILLY CASSEROLE 
1 (8 oz.) pkg. elbow macaroni
1 lb. hamburger
1 onion
1 green pepper
2 cans tomato soup
1 (3 oz.) can cream style corn
American cheese
Salt & pepper

Cook and drain macaroni, brown hamburger along with onion and pepper. Combine macaroni and meat mixture with 1 tall can or 2 regular cans condensed tomato soup, 1 can cream style corn, cubed American cheese, salt and pepper to taste. Bake in greased casserole. Butter on top, optional. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees. Also freezes well baked or unbaked.

This is a recipe that my family has used for generations. One slight difference is the green pepper, we use about 2 tbsp. Absolutely my favorite casserole recipe from childhood.
