1 lb. ground beef 1 tsp. salt 1/2 tsp. pepper 1 tbsp. chopped onion 1 stalk celery, chopped 2 c. frozen or canned peas 2 c. fresh or canned tomatoes or juice 2 c. uncooked noodles 1/2 c. Velveeta cheese Brown ground beef in a skillet. Add salt and pepper. Then add the onion, celery, peas and tomatoes. Cook until celery and peas are soft. Meanwhile, cook noodles in salted water. Drain and spread over meat mixture. Put cheese on top and simmer uncovered for 15 minutes to blend flavors. Serve from skillet. |
