9 BEAN SOUP 
2 c. legume mix (see list)
10 c. water
5 to 6 pieces ham
2 carrots, diced
1 stalk celery, chopped
2 green onions, minced
1 c. potatoes, cubed
2 tbsp. soy sauce
2 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp. parsley
1/2 tsp. savory
1 tsp. Beau Monde
Salt & pepper to taste
1 to 1 1/2 lbs. Hillshire sausage, sliced
1 tbsp. wine vinegar

9 BEAN LIST:

Limas
Red
Pinto
Kidney
Black
Pink
White Northern
Split Green Peas
Lentils
Barley
Black - eyed peas
1 c. rice

Rinse and soak legume mix overnight or boil 3 minutes and soak 1 hour. Do not drain. Bring to a boil. Add ham, carrots, celery and green onions. Cover and simmer 2 hours. Add potatoes, spices, sauces and sausage. Cook 1 hour more. Add vinegar and heat. Good with flour or corn tortillas or cornbread. Serves 8 to 10.
