CAREN'S 16 BEAN SOUP 
Baby limas
Large limas
Pinto beans
Kidney beans
Blackeye peas
Green split peas
Black turtle beans
Garbanzo beans
Mung beans
Great Northern beans
Navy beans
Yellow split peas
Red beans
Michigan white beans
Barley
Lentils

Wash 2 cups of bean mixture; cover with water and soak overnight. Put beans in 2 quarts of water and boil until skins curl. Add 1 ham bone, 1 pound ham or sausage pieces, 1 clove garlic, 1 large can tomatoes, 1 large onion, juice of 1 lemon, salt and pepper to taste. Cook slowly add day. Freezes well. Share with a friend!
