DIVINITY CANDY | |
2 c. sugar 1/2 c. Karo syrup, light 2/3 c. water 2 egg whites 1/2 tsp. cream of tartar 1 tsp. vanilla 1/2 c. nuts Boil first 3 ingredients until hard ball stage, 260 degrees. Beat egg white until stiff. Add cream of tartar; beat. Pour boiling syrup slowly into egg whites. Beat until it forms a peak. Add vanilla and 1/2 cup nuts. Drop quickly by spoon onto waxed paper. Cool. |
