EASY OVEN BARBEQUED CHICKEN
14-16 pieces chicken (breasts, thighs, legs and wings)
1 (18 oz.) bottle Kraft barbeque sauce

Skin and wash chicken pieces. Place pieces in a large flat pyrex baking dish. Pour barbeque sauce evenly over chicken, rinsing bottle with small amount of water to get all of it. Bake on lower rack in oven at 325 degrees for 1 hour or until chicken is tender.

Note: If sauce is too spicy for your taste, dilute it with 1 (4 oz.) can tomato sauce. Serve sauce over steamed rice.

Slice onions and put over the chicken before you add the BBQ sauce. I like the onions better than the chicken!

Great tip! I wouldn't have thought of it and we love onions! Going to add them with some Teriyaki sauce on our chicken thighs tonight. I bought 3 pounds of onions, gotta use them!

I did the sliced up onions thing.
I pull the chicken out about 3/4 of the way there and spoon the sauce over the chicken (the parts that aren't completely submerged) and the onions.
I cooked mine for an hour and a half and I think it made it more tender.

Followed to the tee without the onions. Used family pack of wings with tips left on and 1 bottle of Kraft Honey Barbecue Sauce. Did it the way Jamie did it, after 1 hour and 1/2 without foil, it wasn't quite done. So, back in the oven covered with foil on, now @ 350°F for 30mins. and OMG you don't even need a fork fall off the bone and the bones come right apart. I will be using this again...

Wonderful! I used boneless, skinless thighs and cooked them at 350°F for 1 hr 45. They looked pretty, the meat had absorbed the flavor of the sauce and the house smelled wonderful. This was a great recipe for a good dinner after a tiring day of working in the yard.
