CHICKEN - OVEN BUTTERED BARBECUE 
2 chicken breasts, legs & thighs
1/2 c. Bisquick
1 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. paprika
1/2 c. butter

Rinse chicken in cold water and pat dry in a clean cloth. Mix Bisquick, salt and paprika in a paper bag and shake chicken in mixture until fully covered. Melt butter in baking pan in oven and place chicken skin side down in melted butter. Bake at 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Turn chicken and cover with barbecue sauce. Bake another 15 to 30 minutes or until tender. Spoon sauce over chicken as served.

BARBECUE SAUCE:

1/4 c. onion, chopped
4 tbsp. sugar
1/8 tsp. pepper
1/4 c. catsup
3 tbsp. vinegar
1 tbsp. Worcestershire sauce

I am not considered a "betty home-maker", but this was delicious! I had to make my own bisquick with flour, sugar, baking soda and salt and used bottled barbecue sauce. But wow, this recipe will be printed for my recipe binder! It was a home-run with the family.

I used this recipe as a guide & it was so good!!! But instead of using this recipe exactly, I made this using all purpose flour instead of bisquick. I used Nature's Seasoning, red and black pepper seasoning and used Chicken and Rib sauce (tangy & sweet). I also, turned the oven down a bit when I added the sauce. It was so easy and so yummy!!!
