DUTCH LETTUCE 
4 or 5 strips of bacon, dice & fry
1 egg, beaten
1/3 c. sugar
1/3 c. vinegar
Salt & pepper

Use 1 tablespoon bacon drippings. Mix all together and cook in bacon pan. Bring to boil, then cool.

Mix with bacon and 1/2 head lettuce, cut up. Add 2 or 3 hard boiled eggs cut up. Serve at room temperature.
