TAFFY'S BLUEBERRY TEA CAKE 
1/3 c. shortening
2 tsp. baking powder
1 c. sugar
1 egg
2 c. enriched flour
1/4 tsp. salt
3/4 c. milk
1 c. fresh blueberries

Stir shortening to soften. Add flour sifted with baking powder, salt and sugar. Add milk and beat vigorously for 2 minutes; add egg; beat one minute. Stir in blueberries gently. Pour into greased 8x8x2 inch pan. Bake in moderate 350 degree oven for 50 minutes.
